In its first update since 2012, the YouTube application for PlayStation 3 receives the "Send to TV" option (send to television), which allows you to play videos from mobile devices on your TV. The update of the app will be available the next day or just after this part of the global initiative YouTube channel.
The functionality of sending the TV requires a phone or tablet with the installed YouTube application. This can be either an iOS or Android device, as the functionality is present within the application itself, rather than being dependent on a part of the OS. Just tap on the TV icon in your application and the video beamed on your PS3.
The application has also been updated for a smoother video playback and less buffering.
